On August 30, at the Ministry of Agriculture, was held a meeting with participation of large companies of the agricultural sector.
According to a report from the ministry, Minister of Agriculture Inam Karimov, speaking at a meeting, noted that agrarian reforms are ongoing in the country.
At the meeting, an initiative was put forward to create an agrarian advisory council. By a majority vote, the head of Azersun Holding, Abdolbari Gozal, was elected chairman of the board.
The heads of leading companies such as Azersun Holding, Pasha Holding, Gilan Holding, CTC Holding, AS Group Investment, Modern Group, Agrarco, AzProtein Foods Group and Saba Group participated at the meeting have discussed the development direction of the agricultural industry and exchanged views on joint measures.
